Barber of Seville 2023

What have we accomplished so far? 

• Perform meaningful performance across 9 different venues (4 in 2020 pre-pandemic and 5 from 2022-24)
• Mount 8 productions  (La Boheme in 2020, La Traviata 2022, Madama Butterfly 2023, The Barber of Seville 2023, Gala Spectacular, Rigoletto, Tosca, and Elixir of Love )

• Perform 19 performances 2022-2024 thus far.
• Double cast shows and provide coachings for learning repertoire to emerging artists.
• Generate donations to a youth orchestra, local food pantry, and a mental health charity. 
• Helped revitalize a performing arts venue acoustically and operationally.

New Jersey Lyric Opera is a New Jersey-based touring opera repertory company bringing timeless classics to life, serving the Tri State area.  Part of NJLO’s mission is to provide performance venues for vocal artists to create and curate meaningful performances to audiences. New Jersey formed in 2019 for the inaugural production 2020, La Bohème.
